The small country of Costa Rica, nestled in Central America between Nicaragua and Panama, has many cultural differences to the United States. From transportation to language, the changes are endless. Whether you are taking a quick vacation to the country, or plan on spending a significant amount of time there, take note of these local tips.

My first time to the Costa Rican coast=success!
Last night I had my first Tango lesson! A local dance school was having free lessons in a town square in San Jose, so I headed into town ready for a good night of dancing. I had never Tangoed before, so it’s a good thing everybody else there was also a beginner.
As some of you know I recently moved to Costa Rica for an eight-month internship. It was extremely last minute, giving me practically no time to learn about the country or culture I’d be living in. I quickly learned practical things though, that will com in handy throughout my time here.
